So does Tara STILL not listen to the podcast?!smile Great story, have a wonderful vacation!

I know this is off topic, but room mates can do really strange things to you.  Mine managed to stain stainless steel!

Hi JTM,

Nope, she still doesn’t listen, but I have told her that the story is about her.  Perhaps she’ll sneak a listen.

As for room mates, trust me when I say I have plenty of THOSE stories!

Great episode and congrats on 20 years! We celebrated 25 last November.

What a great story. I love all your stories but this one had me standing up and cheering.  I was also not the smoothest (you say you weren’t but that photo thing was pretty smooth), and had my first kiss miss too (didn’t even hit her face--wound up in her hair!), so I was right there rooting for you all the way.

But dude!  Pics!  This post totally needs photos!  Of the ones you took, of the one you framed, of you guys then and now.  Feed the need man!  grin

Great way to end the season--enjoy your break.

Generally love the program and the Tara story BUT, thought the reference to the roommate’s naked girlfriend was not quite family entertainment.  Unfortunately, I now feel like I need to preview each show before letting my kids listens.  What’s up with that?

Hi Dad,

I didn’t say exactly that...because she wasn’t.  I was trying to describe an embarrassing situation without getting graphic.  Evidently in your case, I didn’t do a good job.

Please hang with me!  And if you want to have more of a one-on-one conversation with me about this, please feel free to drop me an email: griddlecakes(at)gmail.com.

Hello Ron and of course the other Ron, I came across your pod on Itunes. We all LOVE them.  We just listen to the cake in your face one. We couldn’t stop laughing.  Keep up the great work. We also loved Tara’s story. Hope you have many, many more happy years. I just wanted to know does she ever get upset by all the time you put into the pod or does she get involed too?

Hi Annette,

I’ve heard Tara explain her thoughts on this subject.  She has told people that I have always needed a creative outlet—a way to express myself.  Podcasting has filled that role and she supports it.

I’m a pretty lucky guy, aren’t I?

Ron

Testimonials"

Your show is quite eclectic and I never know what to expect. It didn't seem too exciting maybe even kinda weird, but it infectiously grew on me. If you described the show, I would be hesitant to listen. But actually listening my reaction is quite the contrary. I eagerly look forward to each anecdote and oddity. -- Ken
