Griddlesode #20: Business Babble

In this Griddlesode, we review the book Why Business People Speak Like Idiots by Brian Fugere, Chelsea Hardaway, and Jon Warshawsky.  And then we finish up with a sketch that is based on the book.

Another Great episode. I realized I forgot to tell you that I am in Murphy (Dallas suburb) TX. But you were very mild. Here at work we don’t use archaic terms such as subject matter expert. They are only refered to as SMEs. This language has been lovingly refered to as alpahabet soup. You also missed the real meaning behind terms such as “core comptency”...means we have no skills to produce anything else, so we will stick with what the business was started with.  To keep from atrophing out of existing, we are now “world class”, we need to sell all over the world to keep making money.

Keep up the good work wink

Victor…

I listened to episode 20.  I even pulled in 2 of my guys to listen to parts of it.  They were laughing, but needed to get back to work.  It’s funny stuff!  I have to go back to the archives.

Looking forward to the Hef!
